Been away from Pinball simulation for ages.
Got into FP just as Black closed the forum on his site and the original VPforums vanished (Before being Reborn by other the old members.)
I Only really ran vanilla FP back then.
What's the GOTO setup for FP now? are there any Guides you can point me to?

Sure there is. You just need this one. You won't need to install everything.

You'll want to pay attention to the 4gb patched and follow his recent tables instructions to get the most out of them too.

One of the guys on the forum says to start with my guide and then do Terry's that Anon linked above. My guide only covers the installation of FP and BAM. Tery's guide gets into cabinets and other things.

Cheers, any issues running on win10 or win11?

Not really. I address differences in setup for different versions of Windows in Step 3 of this guide:

I'm away at the moment. i'll test it out when i get back next week

If you find something that is not quite right, let me know. I am always looking for ways to improve it.

I'm still overseas... but for fun, I have installed FP (original version unmodified) on my Laptop (an old core i5 Samsung W10) I have downloaded and tested the two tables I released may moons ago. Seems to run ok. :)
Back in the day the Tables By Blindmankind and Polygame (Steve Paradis) were some of the most impressive, must try tables for FP.

Can any one Recommend some "must try" original tables and recreations?

Some time ago I created a list of my favorite tables on GoPinball. I haven't transferred it here yet but it is still available at the link below. The links on the page don't work but you should be able to find them here on PN. I would say any of the tables rated ★★★★★ are must-haves. You might want to look at the ones rated ★★★★☆.
