lithium-ion batteries and the risk of fire

To those of you using lithium-ion batteries in you devices from bicycles to PCs or maybe you have an EV vehicle.
Lithium batterries can be dangerous. That goes for you too steve because you have 2 electric lithium-ion minbikes in the house.
my laptop PC is the only device i have right now with a lithium battery.
when i leave the house i do not leave my laptop PC in a possible risk.
i put it in the tub.

no,,,the plan is not to use water.
hopefully if it catches fire it will stay contained in the tub and not spread.
my only other alternative is put it outside somewhere safe or get a steel bucket with a lid to maybe
suffocate the fire if it does catch fire inside the can.
don't leave your lithium-ion battery on anything flammable.
ion batteries are dangerous then when they catch fire it creates another problem.
all i have right now is 2 small chemical class ABC extinguishers so i use caution when i go out.
until i get a special extinguisher or a metal bucket with a lid for this the tub is it or outside.
