Medieval Madness & Free Play

Greetings,

Somehow I have told Medieval Madness to run in "Free Play" mode. This means that it won't take coins. What do I need to do to get this back to normal.

And, JP, if you see this post, I love all of your tables.........

Now to change the table to use coins you have to change the rom it uses. Open the script. go to the line 42 and you'll see these lines:

'Const cGameName= "mm_10" 'Williams official rom
Const cGameName = "mm_109" 'free play only
'Const cGameName="mm_109b" 'unofficial
'Const cGameName="mm_109c" 'unofficial profanity rom

The one without the ' is the rom in use. Just remove the ' (uncomment that line) of the line which contain the rom you want to use, and make sure the others have a ' in front.

Say that you want to use the official rom, then the lines should look like these:

Const cGameName= "mm_10" 'Williams official rom
'Const cGameName = "mm_109" 'free play only
'Const cGameName="mm_109b" 'unofficial
'Const cGameName="mm_109c" 'unofficial profanity rom

Thanks JP, I will try it. Just 1 question, though. When I hit start, it says it's locating balls? The game never starts.

Deleting the .nvram file(s) should fix it....Pinball/NVRAM/mm_xxx.nv where xxx refers to 109c, 109...etc, etc..
