Working on a scratch recreation of a Delta Queen as a first table. I have the script part fairly well down, still a couple litle quirks to work out. But Im having issues with the playfield plastics. I have a few pics from the web that i have cut and used to map a surface in FP and use the edge points to shape and follow contour. The pics I have are from an unrestored table and appears to be from a heavy smoke enviroment, and unfortunantly they are an incomplete set. Is there anyone out there who has access to a Delta Queen table who could take some photos fairly square to the table, and post them online? Im not certain how many of these tables are still out there in the real world, so if photos are unavailable then I will create from scratch. This is where im at a bit of a loss. I was thinking of taking the blueprint export from FP and importing that in CAD and sketch (trace) the graphics then export a BMP and use Paint or Image Composer to fill in the color. How do you guys do it? Is there an open source or freeware aplication out there that would work better? Any advice or suggestions welcome and much appreciated.
