Given that it's my hometown team, I might just have to watch the game for the first time in years. Randall Cunningham's still quarterback, right?

Seriously though, that tragic ~1991 Eagles' defense was the greatest I've ever seen, and arguably the greatest in NFL history from what I've read. Unfortunately, when Randall went down in the 1st game of the season, and without a decent backup QB that could last more than a game or two, that Eagles season was pretty much sunk.

I haven't followed the NFL for three decades now, but I miss the days playing with friends. Or just running routes and throwing the ball back & forth with a good buddy. It truly is amazing none of us young knuckleheads came up with any serious injury playing tackle and all.
