I got fed up with Firefox bloat screwing up the videos. It's been a real PITA lately with normal everyday surfing and online games, not just the videos, so I went looking for a new browser and found this one. I'm trying it out and so far it's doing a good job with vids and no skips or sync errors on XP. FF of late is perpetually out of sync. I think FF went Windows 8.
I like SlimBrowser so far, though videos will lose audio sync if I open more tabs. With only one tab open, everything looks good here.
But I've never heard of it before tonight and it does feature built-in links for Ebay and Hotmail and MSN, but no choice for Google search, though it includes a GMAIL link on its thumbnail homepage. THe thumbnails can be Edited and Replaced with your own favorite URLs, unlike you know.
And it uses the suspect Internet Explorer "Click" sound. And it has the "I.E." toolbars ad nauseum on top, but the Full Screen mode is very clean. Is it a demon? Is it an Internet Explorer in disguise?
Should I jump?
