Pinball dyes

Hey, i have a question and this looks like the place to go :).

The previous owner of my house left about 30 pinball dyes and im wondering if they are sell able. they cut out out the graphics for old pinball machines when there moved through a press or something it looks like.

ill post pictures tomorrow, any help would be much appreciated thanks.

Stern themselves may be interested as well any or ALL collectors. those things are ultra rare and may also have copyrights on the patterns. be careful who you Do sell them to for that reason. I'd get them looked at by a pro (google for pin collectors or museums in your area) sometime soon...

The dyes could be surplus copies, or they could be originals, but I'd be wondering why the owner left them behind.
Was there a death of the owner?
And who is/was the owner of the dyes? Maybe he is only a mechanic or worked at a dump, but maybe he's someone significant in the world of pinball. And then, maybe the dyes were tossed out by a company in spite of having value.

I would consider contacting the Pinball Hall of Fame and ask them about the dyes. Or ask Steve Ritchie or Pat Lawlor.

ok, actually they are named 'Dies' as in one stamping die, or maybe a matched set of dies. but 'dye' means like an ink coloring like easter egg dyes or hair coloring dyes,'k?
