Hope this helps everyone. It's a quick, easy way to add media for 400+ VP tables to your PE setup. You'll have to gather the tables on your own of course, but this should help people who are having trouble building their PE media.

- Note the three individual downloads offered (#-J, K-R and S-Z), collectively comprising the #-Z Logo set.

Please download the other mega-packs by @cav01c14 for the rest of the media.

In case @cav01c14 or anyone else is wondering-- I'm consolidating the various sets of this collection in to a total of four final resource entries with four matching threads. The original total was twelve, I believe.

So far the Logos, Toppers and Rules collections are pooled, but "Covers" is going to be a bit of a beast, with six sub-downloads to collect in to one entry.

Meanwhile I've designed a custom icon and rewritten the text to be a little more clear, plus attached graphics examples so that it's more clear what the downloads are for.

Btw, in future, if you want to share multiple file segments in to a single entry, you can just keep attachiing them while you're creating the entry. I hadn't actually realised that earlier.

It's harder to add additional file segments once the resource entry has already been created, hence why I created the entry below from scratch:

Also, note that I did some editing to the PE resource section structure. The main category (ie this) is now a header category that lists some other helpful links, but one is now forced to choose between 'PE Essential files' or 'PECM files' when making an upload.

Edit: attached is a small graphic I'll be using in the resource entries.

Sorry in advance for digging up a topic thread that is now over a year old, but I've just recently downloaded this "Logos" pack and I noticed an issue...

The folders for "K-R" & "S-Z" contain Cover images instead of Logo images in the "Logos" folders.

The "#-J" folder contains the correct Logo images, so that one is fine.

Can anyone please steer me in the right direction in order to find a download of the folders which contain the correct Logo files?

Refresh me please on the differences between "covers" & "logos?"
(I don't run a "full table" setup, other than occasionally rotating my monitor to get the temporary effect)

If I understand correctly:

The Logos are the smaller images used on the "Now Loading" screens.

As far as missing files go the "K-R" & "S-Z" folders I mentioned above have Covers in them instead of the correct Logo files. Those need to be replaced with the correct Logo files instead.

There are other downloads which contain the Covers, but those all seem to be correct.

Okay, I had a long talk just now with my site colleague, and I think... this is still an excellent project, worthy of being upheld, worthy of updates, and worthy of consideration.

To be clear-- what's being shared here is media and front-end material, and nothing more. AFAIK I don't believe PN, Nate, or the pin-sim scene is doing anything wrong in terms of sharing front-end media.

Regardless, prove PN wrong, and watch the content disappear.

I think I messed up the uploads at the time.

I'm not much for torrents or whatnot,

So just to explain things a bit better here are some examples between a Logo and a Cover...

Logo =

Cover =

In the both the "PE MP Logos K-R" & "PE MP Logos S-Z" folders there are Cover images inside of the "Logo" folders instead of the Logo image files.

Those Cover image files need to be deleted and replaced with the actual Logo image files instead.

The "PE MP Logos #-J" folder is fine though. The "Logo" folder there contains the correct Logo image files. That's where I got the "007 Golden Eye" Logo file which I've attached first.

As far as torrents, or anything else is concerned, I'm not sure what type of help you seek. In this case it just looks like some folders were were either mislabel, mixed up, or the files went missing. Check to see if you have the correct Logo files for the ones that are missing and then re-upload the files if you are able to do so.

It was @cav01c14 who provided the original content, so I'll try paging him and @NateMac00 via a couple different ways. The media packs might or might not be torrented as I'd first assumed.

So hang tight, and we'll see if we can get the content restored.

Pardon my rambling disorganisation on this. I'm getting over the effects of dental surgery and then had a 'big birthday blowout' the last couple days, which might possibly have involved tasting and tasting again some nice apple moonshine someone gifted me.

EDIT: Yes, and confirmed the problem with covers appearing where logos should be in the downloads.

EDIT2: Dang, their discord is not letting me post. Guess it needs to be mod-approved?
Anyway, I've reached out to Cav at VPF and Nate via Reddit & PM's here. I don't know that I can get a message through via his Youtube channel, either.

EDIT3: So far it looks like Cav didn't upload to torrents, google-drive and Mega, like the core components of PE.

Thanks for reaching out to everyone involved in order to try to get things all straightened out with those files.

Also happy belated birthday! I'm glad you were able to enjoy yourself via your gifted spirits.

As far as getting those files posted once they are found goes, it looks like something similar happened once before with the "Topper" files and the fix was just reposted where the original files were, so I figure that the same thing can be done with these "Logo" files as well.

In any case I look forward to eventually having them, so please keep me updated.

IIRC with the "Topper" entry, the files being broken up that way was sort of an artifact of trying to combine Cav's original entries (I think there were ~13) in to five overall PE ME listings. I probably should have tried creating a fresh entry for that one, but oh well.

I did the R12 update, which was supposed to include everything released after R10, but I don't see those missing files in any of my PE folders.

Regardless, *major* thanks to you JAX for identifying the issue, because reality is reality, and one way or another, we need to fix this.

At the same time, I really like working in GIMP, and TBH it would take a *tiny* bit of effort on my part to re-create individual lost logos. Yet there are hundreds of them lost in the missing downloads. Kinda beyond my purview...

Don't beat yourself up over this. Accidents and mistakes happen to everyone. In this case it's small potatoes compared to other things in life.

I'm sure those Logo folders still exist somewhere on somebody's hard drive. They just have to be found and reloaded like the rest of the Topper files were.
