I've just released Popeye's menu, a bagatelle that promotes good nutrition. Although the manufacturer of Popeye's Menu is unknown, I'm guessing it was made in the early 1950s. After WWII, there were no longer food shortages, and proper eating and nutrition were being promoted.in schools. I remember seeing posters that touted eating 3 square meals a day.
Notice that the illustartions of the fruits and vegetables, milk and grains have the higher scoring values, with Popeye's spinach beign worth the most. The source image indicates only 8 nails, or brads, as they were called, so nudging is needed to land in the highest scoring holes.
