New VP9 Build of the Gottlieb game Rainbow. Designed by Wayne Neyens with art by Roy Parker, Rainbow was released in December 1956. 1,250 units were produced so this game is rare to find today. I was drawn to this game by the fact that it has only rollover lanes, no targets, kickers, etc. I wondered how interesting it would be to play. It turns out to be more interesting than I had imagined. Strategy is made interesting by the combination of double and single number lanes. I do wonder...
