Upgrade/Project Resize older Playfield-Tables to a Higher Level

Hello to the Pinball player's who likes the older Tables. I also like the older Tables from Popotte , Margoni or from Wild.
Some Tables have Playfields, which are from the distance are looking fine, but if you zoom to the Playfield or have a bigger Screen they are sometimes
unsharpened or looking blurry. I found on Visual Pinball Junkies a website Link.

On this Site you can upload for an example a Playfield from the Table you like. I choose from Margoni the Tiger Playfield for example.
The Playfield has a resolution from 1067px * 2028px. After the converting process you have a new Playfield with an much higher resolution.
The new rendered playfield has 4268px * 8112px. It looks amazing after the resize. It looks much more sharpen than before. You can zoom to the
playfield and all looks sharp and crisp.

You can easily export/import the Playfield in the Texture Library from Future Pinball.




after importing the Playfield you must choose the new Playfield on the right Sidebar "Playfield Image"




After the importing you can save/close the Table.
After restarting and loading Future Pinball you can Load the Table with the new Playfield with the higher resolution. :)

Maybe you could shoot the "10th Inning" graphic through there?

What images are best enlarged?

Anime images and illustrations are nearly perfectly processed, colors, details and edges are all well kept. Regular photos are supported as well.

What are the maximum limits on uploaded image?

Currently free user 3000x3000px, 5M; paid user 50M.

Not sure why I haven't heard about people in the pin sim scene using better image sharpeners like this, but this should be worth it's weight in gold, I would think.

Guess we'll all have to get busy testing it and figuring out what kinds of pin-related graphics it's best for. So far it sounds like the more 'cartoony' and non-photorealistic an image is, the better the outcome. Should be super useful for PF's, plastics, etc. Maybe not so much for backglasses.

Won't work so I'm trying to get a hold of someone for a new PF. I have the glass and it's PERFECT but I have to convert it to PNG.

As for how Warrior got his version of 10th Inning to work is extremely basic so there is a LOT of stuff to be added IF I can get it all done. We'll have to wait and see. I know numerous pin machine owners so getting things for any table really is not that tough. Warrior really did a decent job with what little he had to work with.

So I'll wait and see if I get a decent PF image but thanks for this info.
