Hi bob78954,
To upload the table, at the top of almost any Pinball Nirvana page,
click the Downloads link.
On the Downloads page click the Add download link.
On the Add download page that appears:
The Program Name is the name of your Table or file.
If you are uploading the table from your computer, then Click the File Link: Choose File button.
If you are uploading the table from another website, then put the URL (the hosting website's link to the table file) in the ~or~ Page URL: textarea and include the table.zip filesize in Bytes. Example: If the download filesize is 1 Mb. (1 Million Bytes), then type 1000000 in the Filesize (byte) with no commas.
Use the Category Pulldown to choose the appropriate index title for the file that you are uploading to Pinball Nirvana. For FP tables with names starting with 'B', choose Future Pinball / FP Tables A-D
Description is where you offer a brief description of your Table or file upload.
To make a Screenshot of an FP game, play the table. When the table is onscreen in play mode and you see a moment that you like, press the Print Screen key on the keyboard. Exit the game and open Start > All programs > Accessories > Paint. In Paint, click Edit, then Paste. You should see the screenshot.
Then click File > Save, and save the screenshot to any folder you like, and give it a name to remember.
Then for Add screenshot: Choose File use that screenshot that you made.
For Author's name: On a Mod, type both the original Author's name and your name.
You can skip:
Author's e-mail
Version (but I would use the Table's Version number for the sake of it)
Homepage:
"Hits" is the counter that shows the number of downloads of the file,
so if you are honest, then leave that to the system.
Feel free to ask any questions!
The Print Screen key usually works to copy a screenshot of anything that you see on the computer screen. Any game. Any browser. Anything.
Then use a Paint program to save it.
TIP: If you want a screenshot of the Active Program Window Only, with nothing else around it, then take the screenshot by pressing both the ALT and the Print Screen keys at the same time. For ease of use, press and hold the ALT key first while then pressing the Print Screen key.
