Bally Space Invaders (Bally, 1980) troubleshooting

So I have the pinball machine, and seems to be working okay, except that it keeps adding to the score when nothing is being played. Any suggestions?

probably a closed leaf switch somewhere causing it to keep adding a score
check everything on the play field first

I suggest you check all of your fuses as well
I witnessed a similar problem on another manufacturer's machine where the score kept running up without a player.
in the end I replaced several fuses to cure the problem
