This table requires BAM 330 or above.

V2.1 new features:
  • Dynamic Flippers v2 by JLou5641
  • Tweaked physics
  • New Cameras modes follow table state
DFv2 brings a new level of ball control allowing for live catch (difficulty adjustable in the script), tap passes, drop catch, flicker pass and really good aiming.

Meditation error line 750 when i try to launch a ball with the right flipper as instructed.

I'm nearly sure you don't have the latest BAM installed. Can you run the table with F9 please and look at the log window.

1.5.334.0 installed. Downloaded the table 3 times and re installed. Same issue over and over. What info do you need on my end when i press f9 during gameplay?
 
Reinstall Bam then. Go here

I found the 2 in 1 installer works best, run it and install everything, then try it again. This is a slightly older version of BAM, but the stable version.

That's the version i was using when i upgraded BAM today. Both don't work with this table. Not a big deal for me. I was just informing the person who made the table. If no one else finds issue with the table then there's really no issue. I have the old version of this table. It works fine.
 
Okay. Had the same problem. There's something there that is outside a subroutine that is causing the problem, as FP is not reporting the proper line. Even removing the entire smoke's ball rolling code, and the entire BAM code, still got the message.
Couldn't spot it actually. Could be anything. One of those really tricky little things, because the error message that comes up is wrong.
 
Yep!! same error here also.
Just did the same as @shiva to try and get the table working, but also couldn't pinpoint the issue, cheers!
 
Okay this was because this requires use of a beta version of BAM not everyone has. I forgot to install mine, once george mentioned it I redid it and it worked. weird.

Note to everyone: BAM 330 is still in beta form. Just download the attachment and unzip it. Then use the "BAM.dll" file that is unzipped and replace the "BAM.dll" file located here:

C:\Games\Future Pinball\BAM\BAM.dll

I tested this table with version from 330 as minimum but I'm using BAM 334 that is publicly available.

I did have an issue with the cache in my browser downloading the latest version from ravacarde.pl for version 334. The link was ok but i was getting v329! So when running with F9 the very first line should tell you what FP picked up.

I'm using 334 version too. I believe you looked at bam.dll properties but please look at the 1st line of the log just to make sure FP is picking it up the right version.

FP error handling is BAD and that error line is misleading so it won't help me and the problem is that you can do much to help either. Because I can not replicate this it'll be a while to crack this one. My apologies.

Can you also try BAM version above (although the official 334 is recommended) and see if it still happens, please?

Thanks for that, I don't have BAM 330 anymore since 334 came out. If it works with that version for those who have issues and not with 334 this will be a tough one...

Im also using the latest V334 and works fine for me too.
 
Sorry missed the BAM update was still running 329. Yep! all works fine now., cheers!
 
New version released debuting DFv2 by @JLou5641. It may or may not be further developed in the future but it is already VERY good hence, this release. Others will follow.

I choose new version over update because this way you can choose between v2.0 and v2.1 according to preference.

Please note, not all hardware, especially keyboards, can take advantage of this new version.

Ii'm sorry the video below being from another table but it was already done and it is a better table to show off what is possible now, anyway. To simply put it, you can now do most of the stuff described in this link - aka flipper skills.

And sorry for the jerkiness of the video... recorded at only 30fps and older version of the table.



What is happening:
- 7s: Live catch
- 10s: beatiful art :)
- 18s: keep the ball in the flipper :)
- 21s: almost got the post pass
- 28s: Now i got it :p
- 30s: tap pass
- 50s: Not a skill but ball rolls through the slingshot and it is not kicked
- 1:13s: the basic deadflip
- 1:15s: the rolling pass (or flick pass) then repeated from opposite flipper

Drop catches are also possible:

Gotta try this out, as I've always had a hard time playing simulations without my beloved hot catches and drop catches.

Guess I totally missed the boat on the DFv2 update. oO

Major update on this one with major feature being FizX. Has new targets, sounds, use special1key and special2 key to decrease/increase brightness, new inserts, it was almost new everything except code (that still had to be rewritten for some things.

It is a very colourful table and I think it is better now, visually at least because it is probably harder to play but that is intentional. I was breaking 1million often in previous versions by spamming the top center shot and hopefully, now it...

Variable is undefined: 'InitTrackedSoundBalls'

... Or you can open the BAM menu by pressing ` or Q and look at the version number on the bottom right side of the screen.
 
I was running BAM_v1.5-345. Upgrade to 351 fixed it.
