The ball gives off "runners"

I'm pretty much a noob at Visual Pinball, however I have many tables running, but in some games the ball gives off "runners", meaning the ball will be moving very fast and a line of balls will be dragging behind it. It's annoying- is there some way to correct this in options? I searched the forums and don't see anything about the topic posted- thanks in advance!

There is nothing in options.

There is some graphic card options in windows you could try, but I don't know which one(s)

The problem happened because I was running a vp9 table on vp8- it's working alright now- thanks :)

The older tables designed on earlier versions of Visual Pinball do not indicate the version because VP was a work-in-progress. It still is, but there was a change in the VP engine with version 9+ and so the only clue regarding the table version is, tables designed for VP9+ usually have VP9+ in the name.

Again, the pre VP9 tables usually will not state the version, and that often confuses many of us.

usually any pin made prior to 2009 was made in vp8
or an older vp version like vp6 possibly
