Theater of Magic problem - need help

hello. I have a problem with my TOM magic trunk. It wont react when the ball hits it such as the skill shot on start up, ect. it will work for about one game after start up but after that it wont react at all when the ball hits it. it will spin around during self test but nothing more tan that. any advice?? thanks.

I'm not knowlegeable about the actual playfield mech for ToM.
Does the ball return to the playfield after making the hole in the trunk?
Is their an Eject Hole inside the trunk or a trough track under the trunk?

thanks for responding, I had a repair guy come in and fix it. it turns out that it was only a sensor underneath the playfield that needed a slight screw adjustment. there is one sensor right in front of the trunk, and 2 more where the magnets grab the ball above the inner lane outside ball guides. :)
