The Markay Marble Shooter was most probably a hand-made or custom built, sturdy game. While surely not a one-of-a-kind toy, production would have been quite limited, maybe as low as a few hundred. The attention to detail, and the fancy carved woodworking would have made for a fairly hefty price tag, It would have made such a toy very much a luxury enjoyed by only the well-to-do. Origin could have been either the UK or the US.
While I have added both a golden ball and an adjustable speed launch, I have tried to add authenic sounds. I've also taken the liberty of adding your score for you. I have not enhanced the source image, feeling such a glorious game should reflect both it's age and the fun it has provided folks over the years. I'm guessing the Markay Marble Shooter was made between the 1920s and the 1960s.
