a good buddy (breaker breaker!) just recommended the recent "sharknado" as the best awful movie he's ever seen. i.e., you mean hollywood has overtaken bollywood / etc in terms of funny movies? really??

meanwhile, i see farsight keeps updating their app and tables across platforms. but does that mean it finally plays like pinball now?

final note: i just finished a mini-bio of bertrand russell the english logician / activist. i noticed an idea that arose during his time... the idea that thinking too analytically kills emotional reactions over time. and quite a few of his colleagues basically went mad, apparently by attempting to apply logic to every single thing in their lives.

if you disagree with any of this, there is probably something wrong with you.

Jeezum Crow, you can't turn on the internet without reading about frickin' Sharknado! I'm pretty sure you can tune in to (and I truly hate spelling this) SyFy channel and see an equally horrible movie. I think one of the Monkees was in their film about a giant alligator. After they cancelled MST3K and wrapped Battlestar Galactica, SciFi should have just turned off the lights and gone home.
Ah, good ol' Farsight! Urge to kill RISING!.... fading! Whilst playing ST:TNG on VP, did you ever say to yourself "I sure wish multiball was shown from the plunger view"? Well, worry no more! That's what you get to do on Farsight's PS3 version! So this program's been out a little over a year and they just recently added a "support" email address to their homepage. This is their response when I reported this problem:

We have checked into this and we are still trying to work with Sony to figure out the best way to add patches to PSN. Until then, we will not be able to fix the issues you experienced with our game.

My response verged on the... inelegant.

BTW, Nic, I think your good buddy (I'm guessing either "Pigpen" or "Rubber Duck"... points if you get the reference) is selling himself a little short on calling Sharknado the best bad movie. I mean, the filmmakers pretty much set out to make a piece of crap. For me, "best bad movie" is when, despite all good intentions, a movie turns out to be inept on a grand scale. Ah, yes... The Room! Some are calling it the "Citizen Kane" of bad movies. Myself, I still feel that Plan 9 holds that place, but The Room is a close second. For those reading this who haven't seen The Room... what the hell are you doing reading this? Go watch The Room!
