essential modification to williams pinball games up to and including F14. williams made a mistake on wiring of these games. the two bridge rectifiers in the head are not fused between them and the transformer. so if one of the bridge inputs shorts out, the result is a dead short across the transformer secondary winding. if this happens the transformer may catch on fire, and or the wiring may burn. locate one wire to each bridge solder tab that is labelled "AC" (it doesnt matter which "AC" you use one per bridge) and cut the wire so that a fuse holder can be soldered in-line. then get two 8A slo-blo (MDL) fuses to go into each of the two fuse holders. you only need one (1) fuse per bridge rectifier.
