Williams EM 4 Aces (Williams, 1970) Spinning Posts Rubber Replacement

Good day! New to this forum and EM's in general. My neighbor gifted me a Williams 4 Aces table. I am in the process of cleaning it up and replacing bulbs and bumpers. I am having trouble replacing the rubbers for the spinning posts. I remove the posts from the playfield, but can not figure out how to get the new rubber on the posts. I removed the c-clips and the old rubber was dry rotted and just crumbled off. Anyone know how to get the new rubbers on the posts?

The nut on top of that assembly does come off, just twist it

I have been twisting it but it just turns. Shot it with WD-40 and still just turns. Should the pointed too twist off you mean?

Thanks for the quick response Pop Bumpers Pete! The pointed top of the posts just spins when I turn it. Should it just unscrew and come off? Any advice?

It is just cheap pressed steel, twist with one hand, some upwards pressure with another, and hold it firm with your third hand

When you put it back (original or new) it will never be tight

What I am saying is, a lot of maintenance on a pinball machine is fiddly and annoying.
There are times you have to push, twist and turn at the same time
