Don't get caught doing that, if it's anything like at my job they would fire you for something like that, we go through Hostler Drivers more than any other position at the warehouse I work at, knock a door off and get sent for a drug test, I mean they will give you a chance or 2 but that's about it then you have to hit the highway.

I can appreciate good parking. I don't think I have ever seen tractor trailer with it's cab at that angle...Except jack knifed it the middle of the highway. Efficiency works. "I Don't Care Who You Are , Get 'R Done" I sent this to a car hauling friend stopped in Charlotte for the night...C_S

Oh, that's not a problem. I run the yard. The truth is the guys who design these places have no clue what kind of space is required to turn a truck around. So long as I don't damage anything, no one cares. The problem lies in that a bunch of kids are doing the planning, and they have no idea what they want where. That's when I have to step in (even as a contractor) and say "look, here's what's going to happen".

I've been driving trucks for 20 years, but I've only been in the "yard dog" 5 years. I had about 2 feet on either end of the trailer in this pic, but it's not the tightest I've ever gotten into. The tightest? I parallel parked a trailer with 2 inches on either end. But, unfortunately, I don't have a pic of that.
