ok it was a bit wild - i played 48 minutes - 7 songs.
besides the club crowd, people who were just
strolling down Greenville Ave. would pop in and
watch me for a few then toss stuff up on the stage
to me - i got a pack of smokes, and a few
dollar bills, and 2 tickets for beer - ha ha ha!!
i felt like some kinda bizzare space stripper!
people get a bit freaked watching me play my
strange futuristic instrument and it sometimes
becomes a circus sideshow - fine by me!!!
didn't get paid this time as it was sorta my
maiden voyage there, but i have a feeling that
will change soon as the club management was
apologizing to me for a smaller than normal crowd.
one thing for sure, it's always a strange adventure when
i go perform, i enjoy that!! and i've learned over the years
that a wise musician learns to expect the unexpected!!
