- Goodbye.
It didn't do well on release, probably because the target audience was at the arcades and not at the theaters. Same with Tron a couple of years later, though the upcoming Tron sequel should do better.
Ooh! Space Herpes! I also love that movie (Ice Pirates for those of you not in the know) Do you also have then Dark Crystal? Solarbabies sounds real familiar, gotta look that one up. I remember too 'Time Bandits', and 'Labyrinth' with David Bowie as the Goblin King!
Hey Wil, I meant the older Roller Derby brawlers.
Yeah, Rollergames was good, and I went to a taping of American Gladiators back in the eighties.
They shot AG at Universal City with a live audience, about seven miles from here.
It was one of the few t.v. shows that didn't drag for the live audience, though each segment/contest was shot separately with breaks in between.
*I wish somebody would pay me up for suggesting both shows.*
>After 1991, it seems like everything went down the toilet!
Yeah, I'm not crazy about t.v. these days, between the trouble with *my folks* and the modern programming.
