If there are tables you updated with FizX 3.3 or 3.2 can you share them if they work nicely and are tested! :)
I currently work in Tutenkham tribute to the 80s
and i have Batman Joker Edition Ultimatum 1.04c done! it plays nice with FizX 3.3 It only needs some 3d models added to the table (Joker and Bane are a 2d picture)
Going to do allot more sinds FP physics are so bad
next planned for updating are: Iron Man and Addams Family both the Ultimate versions

I will share them here when there updated
if i get the permission to share them ofcourse

Hello, yes, I have shared several. They are tested. I will reinventory the tables as soon as I can reinstall my Vpinball. GeorgeH and Terry also contributed a lot. I'd share the Addams Family for Halloween if no one else does. Otherwise, someone else could finish it off with a customization.

Hi....sorry, but honestly I really say.... don't understand if it's a question or a supposition,or a invite? If You search with the prefix "fizx" all the tables made with fizx, come up!

If "we" talk about "mods", friends George, Terry and phéromones, have made many....see above.

Then there is our friend and master JP aka @Popotte with his "EM" and I assure you that they are masterpieces, and then there's me, with my original tables and recreations, I don't make "mods" or add things to other tables, I have my own, and there are many.
I've only released one so far, HERE the others are in wip.

Anyway, good luck, if you need help just ask, in what way I can, obviously!

Note: Speaking of the Addams Family, perfect timing!!!
My friend @GeorgeH is working on it,I don't know if it's the same version as yours (there are too many of them) among other things I improved the bear yesterday....LOL

Hello,

Thnx allot for your reply Pheromones!
I am aware of George and Terry there tables are great and what they do for the community aswell
Much Love to those guys for sure! And allot of other authors that contributed to making FP play good with the latest physics.
thanks for sharing your tables, Sinds i had a feeling some folks may be worried asking for permissions to post
or maybe not finished play testing themselves/updating the full table

Its a question and an invite/reminder how easy it can be with some work to update tables with FizX
and my previous post here has some answers to questions
Thanks for letting me know all of this about JP and about your tables im glad to get help allways great to have!

Glad to hear Addams Family is getting an update and yes i have played like 3 versions of the table
its one of my all time favorites :)
Once again thanks for all the work you have done!

It's the eternal question...
I began with VP7. After, you have VP8 and above all VP9. So, everyone was converting old tables. VP10, same thing. VPX, same thing...
Concerning FP, with power bumpers, invisible surface at about 26 mm, ..., a lot of guys (like me) converts their old tables.
I won't go into all the progress here, but with FizX 3.3, we're not far from the end. Although... If JLou has time, I've heard talk of a 3.4 version.

Yeah its all adjusting/converting or if someone makes a new table completely from scratch :)
I really like the feel more with the new bumpers and being able to flipper nudge and do tricks a little better
and make it work more like a real table
I will keep an eye out for on any FizX updates and maybe new stuff to learn on how to make things better
like there are so many work of arts made for FP some played great for the time it was made for sure just not the best years later

If still interested, Anthias said that if somebody wants to mod his tables with FizX, he is good with it. You might want to verify if you can publish the table after you add FizX. This is where he said it:

Well, we have two ways:
- the first: create new tables
- convert old tables
For me, the problem is that there aren't many re-creators or creators of original tables.

There was a planned complete overhaul of Tutenkham, with changes to the design among other things. This is on my to-do list, but decided to do sorcerer first as a tut update would have to be done from scratch. Steve and I discussed it, but all the resources were lost, and just looking at the script, and if I do the design changes, it's just better to just redo the entire thing.

This was the initial new design using the original design and pf size, but done last year.
(which I would change as it's still em size, as opposed to modern size dimensions. The game really needed the extra space as things were way too tight and constricted, and though I did the best I could, I'm thinking it would be a far better playing game if it was a wpc-sized game like TZ)
This had several new or changed shots as well as a new ramp, and it fixed some problems with game play and ball stuck issues (if you add bam) but the script prevents certain things like multiball (it's all those f**king timers) and I always wanted to add to the game. Because of the changes, I had to shoehorn new graphics, but even now the game plays like ass due to the restricted size of the playfield, and the fact we crammed so much into it.

@shiva

This table went unnoticed; I didn't know about it. Thanks for pointing it out. I may not have mentioned all the FP contributors who installed fizX, sorry. Anyway... I have too many passions... between planes and remote-controlled cars, guitar, cinema, hunting, mountain biking, motorcycles, my wife and work. I was thinking of making tutorials in French for Fp. MRD ..... one thing at a time :peace:

It's a old table, about 10 years old. I was surprised anyone even remembered it. The table download is different from the screenshots, the screenshots show some of the new features and had a new updated design and rebuild based on the original.

Hey Shiva

I do like the look and feel of the table and i know its missing some stuff, i wanted to fiddle with it sinds its a great looking table :)
It just needed an update for sure its also more fun for kids sinds im raising 3 they like to play these type of themed tables
and my kids dont rly care for multiball on it but it does have to play nicely tho
I just saw it in my list of tables and knew it was a work of art and used some cool features no one was doing like the lightning and the portals
dead shot points etc at that time..
So in all respect ill just wait for you and Steve to update it i guess, sad to hear most got lost and that the table needs a full overhaul
But im getting it to work a little better atleast for the kids to enjoy it abit more by not using older physics still
Thanks for letting me know all the planned stuff on it and the screenshots
The left ramp+guide is a pain in my ass fixing it sinds the shot is to hard to make now (like you said wrong size table for it maybe?) but the ball isnt getting stuck any where no more atleast after adding FizX just 1 shot lane that needs help and the multiball Timer part i guess
I can send the table to you so you can see what im doing to it
My thanks for all the hard work you and Steve put in it and for Future Pinball in general

regards

I played it a lot some time ago. At the time, it didn't seem to have many problems but I would probably have a different opinion now. I remember you said you would update it a while back. If you need any help, let me know. I can do the lighting and add the FizX, Game and Lighting tweakers if you would like.

Steve and I made it at the time to fit vanilla physics (no zed/bam/etc) but with BAM it showed problems as the ball would catch on things, as the physics and collisions are very different now. It's the size of the playfield, it needs to be longer and wider to open up the space a bit, it's fine as vanilla, but ball flow is very stunted and plays quite flat in BAM. In other words, it's the design that needs to open up a bit, and a bit of work in Fizx.

Which means no new version or sequel. All new design, all new graphics and sounds, lots of model work, and the script would need to be redone from scratch, which I am not good enough to do with what Steve and I discussed but never added to the game, and would be quite challenging even for the best scripters, as the code would need to be rewritten. Basically easier to throw it all out and redo it. So thanks for the offer anyway, if the OP wants to release his version then that's fine by me, be happy to play it.

Great to hear!
I understand its gonna be allot of work but i think thiss table can be worth it to make from scratch sinds the models are gone
maybe get models and some of the script from the original table and go from there?
its all up to you
for me it was nice to work on sinds its vanilla and i had to remove nothing from the script
just adding makes working on it a little more easy

I gave it a shot atleast and i will fiddle with it some more sinds it sounds like it will be another abandoned table
without updates (sinds you will start over and redo it or just end the project) i will work on it maybe add multiball in the future.. if the left ramp can be fixed so the shot goes better then it will be just adding that last bit with the timers and it wil be a fine table to play with how i got FizX working with it
Need to keep the older tables up to date, instead of waiting for new tables to come imo
Not enough authors sinds allot left to other sims, and didnt look back sadly
Just wish Slamtilt brings all the new legendary tables over to pinballnirvana and works together with the community here instead of solo
Dunno what happened why he quit posting just Leave it in the past and do it together for the love of pinball :)

JP is the best coder I know. @Popotte are you interested?

Nope guys. Even Steve admits he can't understand it, and it's his code. :)

It's a mess, and I am not really willing to spend the months learning new coding techniques, I don't even have time to do Sorcerer at the moment (life stuff and a gf that is demanding I spend more time on her)

There's also the problem of the models and if the design changes work out in practice what I have floating in my brain, lots of stuff I have never done. May be a team setup, but I have a game to finish first, and as stated, I am very busy at the moment with real life stuff.

Ok that's all good i understand
Im busy with my family allot so i get it :)

Can someone here who reads this maybe write code to add a multiball sequence to the tutenkham table i added FizX to
Its the last part that needs to be done to it at the moment to make it fully playable and more immersive
Then further testing can be done to it and know its ''allowed'' to be uploaded when its done by me ;)
I will state your name in the credits who helped with updating this project
I simply dont have the time to do this right now, i am already updating other tables with new physics and flippers/slingshots

Just a note, you may find problems with the multiball due to all the timers firing. The new version I showed had multiball, but wasn't releasing or locking (it was a 3 ball) due to the timers. The best solution would be to keep it as simple as possible.
fpxengine has a very simple 2 ball multiball built in, which may be for the best with tut. I've done up a modified version of fpx for you in case you wish to have a crack at it yourself, but the code itself is very simplified as fpx was made for beginners.

Be interested to see where you put the locks. During the design, I expanded the space behind the pegs of each model so the ball could fit in, because I figured that was exactly where steve would want them anyway. In the new modified design, I had my multiball just below where the ramp splits on the left hand side of the ramp. You can see it if you look closely enough.

Yes, you may notice that some older FP tables, when updated to FizX may have a hard time playing easily or correctly.

I don't mean playing "correctly" in terms of realistic / correct physics. I mean that some shots which were designed with old FP physics in mind (very wide angles from the flippers) will be hard or impossible to hit. This is not a fault of FizX or the table, its just a matter of different designs made for a different time and physics.

I found this on some tables like Blade Runner which had some shots which were impossible to make without changing parts of the table layout drastically.

For tables based on real pins... its less of an issue as their layout and dimensions are created based on more realistic physics to begin with.
