Acquisition by Scientific Games​

WMS merged with Scientific Games in October 2013, becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Scientific Games. Scientific Games paid $1.5 billion for WMS, and WMS shareholders received $26.00 per share.[2][3] The following year, Scientific Games also acquired Bally Technologies, the successor to the original Bally Manufacturing's slot machine operations.
