Ok, I'm a little bummed out because Firefox installed a version 35. and all of my shit was taken from me, all of my damned extensions and stuff, I can no longer login to the front page of our damned site.

Thanks StevOz, I usually try to build my Firefox like yours, have had Adblock and noscript for a long time due to you, time to find out why I can't do stuff like I used to do.

Is there a Smooth mode for the new Firefox?

Yeah, Firefox now has limited support for the Netscape Plugin API (NPAPI).
If a plugin uses NPAPI exclusively, then it might not run. I'm sure there are updates for those. In Firefox, try clicking Tools > Add-ons > the left navbar Plugins. Check to see if those missing plugins are still listed. If they are, then at the top of the page click the "Check to see if your plugins are up to date".

Hopefully there are updates that do not use the deprecated NPAPI.

Firefox also made Yahoo! Search the default search engine, whether you want it or not. But you can reset it by clicking Tools > Options > the Search tab, and Choose Wisely...

Isn't there something about how Firefox and Yahoo are cramming ads down the user's throat with the new update?

As a sidenote... a childhood friend of mine was recently visiting me and we were watching this awesome video of "Blinded" that we watched as kiddos on the late and lamented Midnight Special. The conversation inevitably turned to "wrapped up like a douche." As someone who grew up to be a Springsteen fanatic, I knew that the lyric was actually "wrapped up like a deuce," but neither of us knew what it meant. After a trip to Wikipedia, we found out that it refers to a '32 deuce coupe. This amazed us. There were some guys up the block from us who bought both the deuce coupe Paul Le Mat drive in American Graffiti, as well as the '55 Chevy that Han Solo tooled around in. We spent a good part of our adolescence sneaking peeks in their garage at these two wonderful hunks of Detroit art!

Ye'um. Firefox lost market share, and the former loose talk was that Google would drop price support for FF that they were paying for inclusion as the Default search engine. Maybe that was true?

If so, then it looks like Yahoo! snapped them up after Google dropped them. I saw a notice at Yahoo! today about the New Co-Branded Firefox optimized for Yahoo!
So, unlike the Google years, Yahoo! is taking aggressive possession of FF.
Hopefully that is a separate browser release. But with money, I doubt it.

Somebody will probably fork the Firefox on open source principles. Or FF will do it as "a no name release" if and when Yahoo! bloat tanks FF.

EDIT: Funny. FF was appealing for open source donations just the other day...it's really all about the money now.

EDIT#2: Man. I Hate Yahoo! Search. Too inaccurate and way too spammy. It borders on A Complete Waste of Time to use.
