A Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles is also home to a bar featuring all the latest pinballs from Stern and Jersey Jack, as Steven Elliot reports.
Devonshire and Mason in Chatsworth is not bad to me. Maybe I'll make the trek as soon as my head stops exploding.
In the old days, the "House of Billiards" on Ventura Blvd. (that "Vampire Blvd." of which Tom Petty sings about) could be counted on for some pinball, as could a couple of bowling alleys, one in Studio City and the other in Tarzana on the same Blvd.
But I haven't been to those in a blue moon, instead opting for The Family Arcade on Vermont across from the city college in Los Angeles, a very fine arcade.
BTW, the city of Tarzana was named after Tarzan. Something to do with being the former site of the Edgar Rice Burrough's ranch.
