Cavalia Odysseo: A "Cirque De Soleil" with Horses!

No, I haven't seen this show, but I am intrigued by the premise of modern circus with acrobats and media and horses and FXs.
When I travel through Burbank, I can see the fantastic tents that house this show, with peaks of white and flags glistening in the sun.

I would like to see this show someday.

I agree about the prices, but they are on par with concert ticket pricing.

Mike Nesmith is playing The Canyon Club this month @ $47.50 for general seating and $110 for The Gold Circle. Foreigner tickets for the same club are going for $112 unscalped. Gordon Lightfoot in Anaheim is over $100 for front sections.

When McCartney played Vegas, best seats were $150. That was Excellent pricing
compared to the $250 front section tickets for his previous L.A. concert.

Don't ask me about Fleetwood Mac @ Staples Center in July.
I'll tell 'ye the same, and I'm sure the scalpers are looking for $1,000+ a pop.

Is it any wonder pirating downloads and recording from the radio are so popular?

Ah, let me put it this way.
When I was a teen, the local San Fernando Fairgrounds staged a rock festival with, I think, Blues Magoos, Iron Butterfly, several current acts. A 3 day event at some reference to "Woodstock", but it was promising.

Admission was $5 and the festival was cancelled after local teens overran the chain link fence, crashing the event. The ticket money was not returned.

whenI was thirteen I used to frequent Madison Square garden in NYC due to my friends dad working there!
Our tickets never exceeded $20 and these were for groups like Yes, Led Zep, Queen, Jethro Tull,
nowadays the tickets range way up in the hundreds for these same groups,
okay granted now they are better known and inflation and all but really a hundred bucks to see a concert?
and thispast Friday me and my gal went to see a comic(Jon Oliver) at the Helium club in Philly
and she paid $55 bucks per ticket for a one hour comedy show!
granted the club is a small intimate one and we were literally at the stage
(I could put my feet on the stage edge!) but still four hundred people at over $50 bucks a ticket
makes for a heck of a profit also the foods on the menu started at $20 for a salad!
$10 for a beer and around $12 for a glass of wine
IMO that's outrageous pricing!

The Canyon Club charges $30-$35 and up for dinner at a table seat,
and you must buy dinner if you are seated at a table.
Drinks alone will not do.
