After the recent updates of the Shoutbox and the Chat software a ChatGPT Bot has been activated for logged in and Registered Users.
You should be able to interact with it by clicking on the name (ChatGPT Bot) to add the command /ai or simply type "/ai" and then your question or sentence.
Prior to this update, I knew almost nothing about ChatGPT except seeing it mentioned on the news as a tool to help students cheat...
Both the Shoutbox and Chat programs have options to open in a new window or tab if preferred. We have setup a new ChatGPT Bot
Chat Room if you want to try it out but all chat rooms accepts the command.

After testing, sometimes you need to refresh the page to see the response and there are many settings for the bot on their website and in our Add-Ons. The bot's response length can be set by the # of tokens, currently set for 100 in the Shoutbox and 150 in the Chat. Then there's a Temperature setting and because I still don't fully understand it yet the Shoutbox and Chat is set on the default of .07:
So far it seems to work, PN has a very long history of bots (Mibs) and most of the previous ones were taught by the staff, doh, ChatGPT seems to be much smarter!
I've enjoyed seeing some of the responses and it seems to know about FP and VP. Always have been looking out for Pinball Machines in the movies and I love older movies so here's a sample from the chat room about my inquiry:
JonPurpleHaze:/ai (AI prompt) List pinball machines that appear in movies?
@ChatGPT: @JonPurpleHaze, 1. Tommy (1975) - Featuring the Tommy Pinball Wizard machine.
2. The Who's Tommy Pinball Wizard (1994) - A pinball machine based on the musical and film Tommy.
3. The Accused (1988) - Includes a scene with a Flash Gordon pinball machine.
4. Wayne's World (1992) - Features a scene with a Terminator 2: Judgment Day pinball machine.
5. The Addams Family (1991) - The Addams Family pinball machine is prominently featured.
6. Big (1988) - Features a scene with a Zoltar Speaks fortune-telling machine, which transforms into a pinball machine.
7. Beavis and Butt-Head Do
Looks like perhaps the settings need to be altered for longer relies, but it's a start.
Enjoy!

Edit: There's an option in XF to link the ChatGPT Chat Room to this thread, the options to Post chat messages in this thread and Post thread replies in this room are both disabled and haven't ever been tried, could try one or both?
This is a ? type of thread so fire away and we all might learn some stuff.
Clicking on the bots name for the command only works in the Shoutbox for some reason, /ai is needed in the Chat Rooms.

Temperature is a hyperparameter that controls the randomness of the model's output. It affects the diversity and creativity of the generated text. Temperature is used during the sampling process of the model when generating responses.
When you set the temperature to a higher value, such as 1.0, it increases the randomness, making the output more diverse and unpredictable. This can lead to more creative and imaginative responses. However, setting the temperature too high may also result in the generation of nonsensical or incoherent text.
On the other hand, when you set the temperature to a lower value, such as 0.2, it reduces randomness and makes the output more focused and deterministic. This can lead to more conservative and controlled responses that are less varied.
