Confusion on Future Pinball key setup

in the settings I see two areas one is keys and the other is for controllers. Currently my cabinet works with just keys mapped but I do have pinscape controller with xpadder interface so if I choose pinscape for controller and map the controller buttons also then it seems to map the keys and buttons twice. I was thinking if you mapped the keys you do not need to map the controller correct? I do need the controller mapped for just the XYZ axis as I have analog plunger and nudge. I do have 2nd flipper buttons but just use those for special 1 and 2 do not need 2nd flipper controls.

Do I even need xpadder at all?

figured it out xpadder had same key mapped to two different buttons.
