The licensing stuff aside, one other thing that sounds pretty bad is their claim that you have retained technology which you actually sold to GVR and used it to sell counterfeit GVR gamepacks at a lower price via ebay. Can you give us any info on how that accusation came into being?

I am not allowed to comment on the case or the allegations in the case. The facts will come out at some point that support my plea of not guilty either when the case is dismissed or at trial if it comes to that.

Also, please note, that the "article" has nothing to do with the indictment or the charges therein, its simply a smear campaign against me. When the author contacted me, he claimed to be doing a story related to the indictment, and instead has gone off a complete tangent. When he did his original "investigation" in 2006, he didn't contact me. UltraCade Technologies employees had meetings in 2005 and 2006 with the companies listed in the article to review our licenses for these games, but no mention of those meetings was mentioned either.

How do you speak on behalf of this forum? I'd "be afforded the luxury of slack here", this is your first and only post. Obviously you are either JD or one of his minions on the campaign. Clearly, your first and only post doesn't represent the "scene" pinball or otherwise. I was one of the creators of the classic gaming scene, selling classic multi-game systems before the MAME project started. Regardless of the current litigation I will continue to be on the vanguard of the classic gaming scene.

That's Bull Shit. I'm not defending Dave, but I know that when someone is totally innocent and is being backed into a corner with no one to talk to or is being maligned in public, that they will often speak Long and Loudly and in this country have every Right to.

Bad business schemes kinda of make one an easy target.

I am also disapointed at the eye sore graphical design on the products. It would have benefited more with some photoshop embossments, drop shadows, and a lense-flare filter for good measure.

That's the part I really love about it. Basically, close to everyone (maybe actually everyone) would be fucked if their hard-drive were to be examined. With the exception of paranoid bastards like me.

third day of vaca here, but i'll watch this space for news. will he? won't he? will it all come tumbling down?

on the way here i was able to stop by the corning glass museum in corning, NY- friggen awesome museum dealing with the properties and making and uses of glass. lots and lots of interactive exhibits, ala the franklin institue in philly, with plenty of meterial to satisfy the lay person and the science buff alike. highly recommended if you're ever in the area.
