Demolition Man Ramps

Hello Friends, I am posting to see if anyone out there has parts for Williams Demolition Man. More specificly, any or all three ramps on the playfield that are in really good shape , or where I can find them new.

So far all I have found for new is one ramp from a place in Australia but it has no flap or decal on it, so I think I am going to hope for good clean used ones.

Also if anyone has the plastic that goes over the two standups by the right ramp, and or the plastic that goes over the underground ball trough, I need those too.

I'm trying to do a nice restoration on it. Not like a maniac collector quality top to bottom insane resto, but a nice clean well maintained resto. Thanks.

This guy must have stripped a DM playfield and was selling most of the parts about a month ago. But some of the actions never sold (probably because the never cleaned up the parts). He might still have the ramps for sale.

Thanks arzoo! I am so glad I came into this forum, I only wish I had done it sooner it's been a huge help. I have searched high and low for that thing and they have another plastic ( over the underground ) that I have been looking for too! I will now be able to have all new playfield plastics minus the ramps. AWESOME! THANK YOU,THANK YOU!

Sorry to bump this thread but it's the only recent Demolition Man Pin posting I could find where someone is actively reconditioning one.
I bought a DemoMan pin, tore it down to the playfield and stuck it in storage; lost for about 10yrs. So now I'm looking for a great condition playfield, anyone know where i could locate one? Also, what's the best route to recondition the cabinet where the stickers have been slightly marred or ripped? Figure they don't make those stickers anymore. Thanks!

Demolition Man can be brutal on the plastics - the ball often leaving the playfield. After I reconditioned my DM, 2 of the plastics were chipped or broken within a couple weeks of heavy play (the originals can get brittle). I would recommend adding plastic protectors - a set for DM can be purchased for around $30 and it's worth the investment. The protectors are basically clear, slightly larger versions of each plastic. You put them under each plastic and they add about 1/8" to all the edges, so the ball impacts the clear protector before the actual plastic.

At the time, he had 5 or 6 auctions running for DM playfield parts (must have stripped a machine). Most did not sell – I think because he never cleaned anything up.

Yeah I saw those, I comb Ebay daily, and the protectors are a great idea. I picked some up as soon as I got the one that hangs over the third flipper because it is not only known to break, it just looks like it's asking for it! LMAO! I have been wiating to find the two final playfield pieces that you guided me to, (thanks for the awesomeness!!! ) so as soon as I get those I am going to do my playfield over haul, I guess I will find ramps later on. Oh I forgot to mention that the guy who had them on Ebay, those were all cracked as well. I actually passed on a set on there once before I knew how impossible they are to find! DOH! oh well. Theres that one company I contaced that have all the OEM molds from Williams to make new ones but the guy said there are no futer plans to produce any. That sucks because they are broken quite a bit and Demo Man is a starter pin for alot of people, although my wife and I insist that it will be a keeper. Thanks for your help and suggestions. If you look around really good, I can't remember where I seen them, there are some OEM back box decals for the sides of the back box, that terrible cartoon of Simon Phoenix. Try all the pinball places in the U.K. and go on Ebay daily,Also, if you know somebody that does signage and makes "vehicle graphics" or "vehicle wraps" you may be able to get some images off the web and have them made, or better yet maybe have some movie images made into a custom set.It's the same printed vinyl decal material You really have nothing to lose because the artwork on the DM SUUUUUCCCCKKKKKSSSS!

So maybe you can go that route? Sometimes you have to be creative. I have a guy working on a custom translite for DM for me right now. From what I have seen so far it's awesome! Pinball from what I have found so far with the SS games is really wide open with possibilities, especially if your good at electrical theory and electronics. If you can program, the possibilities are even more endless. Why do you need a playfield whats wrong with it? That should be a diamond plate playfield although it does not say it, it has had the d plate process done on it. So bad it can not be touched up? Water/Beer damage? I am curious If I can help you out with photos ar anything to help you put it back together let me know.

Theres a thread in the PLAYFIELD FORUM about custom graphis with a link to someone who can help out or maybe even make them or make you some customs,go check it out.

But I’ve been collecting EMs for 35 years. I love playing the DM and now I’m looking for another SS – just missed a great deal on Doctor Who (so bummed).

Wow, thanks for the great info! I'll look into that route definitely. As for the playfield (as I remember since the machine isn't here yet) the playfield was dirty from just regular use (was set up as pay-to-play with a bar across the coin door) but some of the graphics had been worn off. I bought it at a good price, I am a programmer as well and figured it'd be a god project since there were a wealth of parts avail at that time. Unfortunately, forgot about it and now can't find jack really. All the pieces are there, not faded nor cracked, it all works well and I think the chips are the latest versions as well so figured why not. Get it to a nice condition (will never be excellent since the coin bar installation) play with it for a bit then sell it.

Anyway, thanks again for the info! I should be bringing it home within the next next 2 weeks at most and start in on it so I'll hit you up with some picks and you can give me your opinions, appreciate it! :)

Also,if the Olds 442 car is broken and replaced with some other Hot Wheels car like on alot of DM's, you can't find a replacement anywhere that is the actual car that came with the game. However if you go on ebay and search Demolition Man Olds 442 car you will find anywhere from 2 to 5 of them on there ( Hot Wheels ) selling at once. Thats what I replaced mine with and it works great, better than before as I think the little Ferrari that someone stuck in there for a replacement was too light and you could NEVER hit the double car crash.
