When I play pinball I try to avoid looking for my score while the ball is in play.... I look at the score and the ball drains in like five seconds. Is this superstitious or what? Does this happen to you....?

What this country needs is, two cars in every pot and a chicken in every garage...(?)...or SOMEthing like that.

OH---and two DMDs on every machine, so the score can always be displayed. Once you become accustomed to its location, you still have to hope the score shows while you have the time.....

Going back some to when there were pinballs to play and I was a 100 games a week kind of guy, then no that didn't happen often at all, though I'd say there was a 5% chance of it occurring.

Yes I too have see so many lost extra-balls it has to be statistically significant. Pinball really lends itself to these "observations". And we are developing staggering psychokinetic powers from willing that ball to do our bidding.

Yeah those multiballs have developed a group intelligence. They cleverly absorb all momentum on the playfield then aim straight for the outhole. Like history repeating, decent individuals getting together and becoming unconscionable monsters. All those balls should last about an hour. Auto plunger games multiball must launch like two dozen balls. One at a time , well... I'd still be playing pinball...C_S

A little story.

I used to be good when I was younger- really good. I played tournaments and everything. I had a gift (it's gone now), everything I played- I destroyed. I remember being at the AMOA show when Centaur was out. 1980? Anyway, they had headphones wired to the game at the booth. With the headphones on it was an experience. I got multiball, and kept all 5 balls out for like 5 full minutes. Every shot perfectly a choreographed response. When I was finally done I took the headphones off and left my "zone". I looked around and everyone was looking at me like I'd landed from another planet lol. They were looking at me like wtf just happened. I wasn't doing it for a reaction, it was the way I played.
