Greetings all, my first post!

I obtained a Disco Fever (Williams) machine today on the cheap because the owners pretty much thought it was junk--and they were right :) It's missing a ton of stuff (keys, manuals, the power supply board :) ) and it's missing a main fuse for the thing.

I was wondering if anyone could take a look at this picture and tell me what type of fuse I need to put into this baby in hopes of bringing it back to life (note: there was a fuse in the bottom of the cabinet that I put in there and the game DID general illuminate when I turned it on--for about 30 seconds and then that fuse bit the dust).

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

Where exactly in the machine is this fuse?
You can check the manual, found here http://mirror2.ipdb.org/files/686/Williams_1978_Disco_Fever_Operators_Handbook.pdf for the location and types of fuses and such for the machine. Remember to match the amps and whether it's slo blow or not. Volts listed are a minimum, meaning if the machine calls for 32v, putting a 250v is fine so long as the amps and such match exactly.

Thanks for the reply Madsci,

I got an answer from another source I carpet bombed with questions :) This is a "fuse card" I guess. It is located in the backbox just under the power supply board to the left of the main transformer.

It appears it is the "General Illumination" fuse 6.3v @ 20amps fast blow.

Looks like most of the fuses out there are 250v so I should be good with a 250v 20amp fast blow fuse correct (I can't actually tell if Disco Fever is a type 3 or type 4 Williams machine but if it's not 6.3v GI 20amp fast blow the other sheet I found says "28v flippers 20amp fast blow"--but since the amperage requirement is the same I should be good as long as I get over that 28v max correct)?

your game is system 3, and yes the 20 amp fast blow 250v should be fine. It's tough to get exact voltage fuses like that, but the volts aren't really a big deal when matching fuses.
