The "come-as-you-are, do what you like" casual rules, got a car, don't got a car, smuggle your favorite food and drink or friends in the trunk past the ticket booth. Smoke what you want. Sleep if you want. Dusk 'til Dawn all-night movies on The 4th of July with A Live Fireworks Extravaganza. Group pricing "Buck-a-Carload".
And strangely enough, one of The Only Ways you could ever get to watch
movies like Cannibal Feroux(sp?), George A. Romero's "Dawn of the Dead",
Texas Chainsaw II or Russ Meyer's "Supervixens" as they were Unrated and rejected by the mainsteam indoor theaters.
Shown on an outdoor screen often in residential neighborhoods where the screen was in full view of the local community, which was how this young buck once got to watch part of Russ Meyer's "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls", by riding my bicycle and parking on the sidewalk right outside the drive-in fence on a residential street.
