Downloading and NO feedback

There is one front end that I use, VPMan, and that is because it has a control for turning off DirectDraw for tables.

This is necessary when ATI cards are not cooperating with VP, and it isn't just for VPM tables.
In the past I've needed to turn off DirectDraw in order to play 4Eyes Video Poker and other VP-only tables that used EMReels.

I'm just curious, and no, this isn't an attack or bashing by any means, but have you ever played a flipperless game? I find it so frustrating knowing there are folks who have never played one of mine or druadic's tables, but have decided they don't like flipperless stuff. Why not give a few a try if you never have, so you can make an informed decision. But since I make what I enjoy playing, it doesn't really bother me that much. It just frustrates me to have my tables rejected without being given a chance.

Nothing personal, as I stated in my post.

Fliperless machines were already boring (to me) when I was a teenager, games for old people!

I live in the 12st century with two kids 7 & 3 years old & pinball is as far as I go back in the past! On keyboard with a kid on my lap!

No problem then, at least you've played flipperless and it wasn't for you. I'm sure there are a lot of people who dismiss flipperless games without even tying one. I'm 64 and grew up plauing flipperless and early EMs. I've never quite gotten the hang of flippers myself.

WOW, All I ever use is ATI cards since NVidia cards are crap. Every NVidia card I have bought and used gave me problems. Every ATI card has NEVER given problems. This is wierd that your ATI card is giving you problems. I still have an ATI 8500 LE which runs EVERYTHING to this day. I went through 5 NVidia cards and finally had enough and broke down and bought the 8500LE. The BEST investment I have ever made to this day. Also, it runs VP perfectly with no issues.

Holy shit. I must be an old f---er at 40. God, I'm older than you? Amazing. I guess 40 means old fart age if I like flipperless machines. Damn, this sucks. Shouldn't I be dead already? Guess when I reach birth again I'll enjoy flippered tables even more. Wow.

Glad I have "phoenix" type powers so I can die at 41 and be reborn again. I am "druadic" after all and can change into any creature I want at will.

I'm REALLY glad I'm not making any more flippered tables for a LONG time. Thank God for flipperless "PIN BALL machines"!!!!

I feel better already! :) For all those who think flipperless machines are for old people, below is a nice animated GIF for you all. Have a fun and exciting day! :p

I played some flipperless back in 1971. When Los Angeles finally legalized pinball, the first arcades were literally on fire with business and many of them had nothing to put out there, so they put out everything they could get their hands on including flipperless and flippers from the 1940's.
But the crowd favored new flipper machines.

But growing up in the 1960's I spent my time at the public park rec room playing Caroms, Tops, and other active table top board games. Tops (I think that was the name, but that's what I called the game) was a box table that had 3 or 4 separator walls across the length of the box with a hole in each wall and you would launch a drawstring top and hope it would spin through the opening in each wall and make it to the other side of the box.
By junior high I was playing foosball but wasn't very good at it (I think I invented that game, but I'll have to nail that damned hazer family. They're also industrial jobbers).

Actually even over at vpf my download numbers far outweigh the replies for the tables! There are literally tens of thousands there who make cabs or just go on, register, then download all the tables they want. The only time and I stress only time, they post is when they have a problem with a table. I for one love any and all negative feedback as well as positive. I do try to learn something new for each table as I go and it does show. Each new one does have something new in it. So anything good or bad, sure let me know, and the next one will be better, or have that issue addressed. But I agree, I have about 5 replies per table in the download area. I will have maybe five to ten posts on any table I put out. But then again most of my earlier tables were empty simple things, I admit it too looking back on some of them!
But, hey, I had to learn somewhere! And I have been tossing around the idea of a redo on Cavegal. I think it's time she grew up! maybe, "CaveWoman!" with many PF targets to hit and events to accomplish! instead of that empty pf that cavegal currently has! but these things are far in the future, and yeah i would like to hear feedback on wip's too not just new releases! This is how I can fine tune my tables as i go, since i mostly do originals anyhow, now since I understand vp better, I can make tables based on your comments and feedback, both good and bad!
So, it is not just here but over there too where people download tables then vanish into the night...not saying a word to anyone...oh and every table I see whether here or there I do try to post a comment or two, both before when I first see and get the table and again afterward on likes and dislikes on its playability and looks, (ease of playing, table layout, even flipper action (this is tough as so many have one sided favored flipper action, and I am talking of originals here!) extra 'goodies', etc.). Being an author myself I know I prefer comments too and well "What comes around..." and all that.
