This question has been been a bat some where in my belfry for years. I have wondered if any 60's era pinball machines had two levels of power for playfield solenoids. Some of the games I played seemed to speed up as my score increased. I was just a kid "Down The Ocean" on vacation. Those were nickel and dime machines. I often got the impression the the games started off sluggish with weak pop bumpers and sling shots. Were these machines just warming up from their morning exercise? Or did they have circuits that sent more power as play progressed? This effect definitely added to the fun ...C_S
