I can't figure out why I'm missing (not hearing) almost all of the speech. I hear "prepare for mission" and, if using multiplayer, "player X stand by", when I press start, but the only other speech I ever hear is the "blast off" if I happen to start mutliball. I don't hear - blast, off, first stage go, second stage go, all systems go commence countdown, etc. I don't know if this helps, but I can manually play the different speech sounds through the table editor's music manager, but I don't hear them during gameplay.
Also, I hear the spinner and lane sounds when I start game, but they eventually stop playing. I haven't been able to figure out what specifically causes them to stop playing. It's not simply a set amount of time. That's both spinners and all the lanes (L/A/S/T, the 4 return lanes, and both outlanes). I'm fairly sure those aren't the only 2 sounds that stop playing - I think another one is the center lane stand-up. Those sounds do not return when starting a new game. I have to exit and reload to get them back, though they just stop playing again.
Lastly, the issue with the stage lane. Every time I get a 2nd ball into the lane, when the 1st ball drops down, the 2nd one drops right above it instead of being separated by the ball walker "peg". So, if I get a 3rd ball in there without enabling multiball, both the 1st & 2nd balls are kicked onto the playfield and when one of them reaches the outhole, the bonus collects, the game moves to the next ball/player and kicks a ball into the shooter lane - even while the other ball is still in play.
After seeing this happen over-and-over, even after restarting everything, I tried reducing the table slope from 8 to 6 and the 2 balls would be properly separated in the stage lane every time.
I'm playing desktop and don't get any script errors when loading the table. I have the latest version of BAM and run using FPLoader.exe. I've been playing a lot of the other NitroNimbus MOD BAM tables that were submitted at the same time as this table and I haven't noticed issues with those.
Hopefully, I won't have to slap my forehead too hard when I find out what I forgot to do. I freely admit I'm a n00b when it comes to FP and virtual pinball, in general. I tried very hard to follow TerryRed's mega guide!
Thanks.
