So i am new to both this forum and pinball. I do mostly hvac and actually recieved a flying carpet as a tip as the homeowner had problems with the machine previously. I got the machine home and got it working a lot better than he had but my main problem now is that the game wont "count" balls and also go into "game over" the only way i can get it to feed a ball is to force the "1" ball via the ball count units solinoid. once it goes to its fifth ball it wont go to game over it just stays on the fifth ball. the only way i can get it to activate game over is to trip the tilt switch. the ball count? on the backglass section that goes from 0-12 adds when i "coin up" but it doesnt go down when the ball goes into the drain. When i recieved the machine he told me that the only problem he had was "when you recieve a free game it shorts the 15 amp fuse" i had found that the ball count in the backbox was pushing the switch into the gear body and shorting it out, because it wont count down.
thanks for all the help, i do have the schematics but they arent the easiest for me to read. hvac schematics are a lot easier
