Key West is the first bingo that Bally produced that allowed you to collect wins in triple deck scoring before you were locked out of the moving numbers feature (in this case, Magic Squares). Collecting in multiple colors is a great thrill. The ballyhole returns - awarding first extra ball, corners score green 5-in-a-line, and also a first for this game, you can swap the red and yellow scores if one or the other is higher and you want to earn those extra replays! Showtime is the first game to feature Magic Squares rearranged into the center of the backglass. This game also features the first Magic Line - in this case, a set of four moving numbers that rotate across using an additional two discs behind the backglass. The ballyhole gives first extra ball, rollovers can extend the time tree to after 5th, triple deck scoring, and corners score as green 5-in-line. In the world of the EM, one of the biggest and most interesting devices is the 35mm film projector. In this episode, I teach you how to run your own carbon arc projector, cut cues, run a Brenograph machine, dim the lights and open the curtains! I worked as a projectionist for several years before starting my career, and as a box office attendant for a couple of years before that. The Byrd Theatre is an amazing movie palace that is both still standing and still used to show movies daily! Information about the organ: Great photo of the organ: Now, T-shirts! I'll be taking pre-orders for the next two weeks, and if we have at least a dozen commitments, I'll be sending in the order to the printers (otherwise, I will refund your money). These will be available to pre-order only until 1/18/16. For listeners in the US - shipping $4.50: Sizes XS $18.00 USD S $18.00 USD M $18.00 USD L $18.00 USD XL $18.00 USD 2XL $19.80 USD 3XL $21.60 USD For International Listeners - shipping $15: Sizes XS $18.00 USD S $18.00 USD M $18.00 USD L $18.00 USD XL $18.00 USD 2XL $19.80 USD 3XL $21.60 USD

My grandfather has been a 'picker' for most of his life, trading various items for others - mostly antiques, though he has dabbled occasionally with coin-op. He was very interested to see the new game, so I captured his reaction and his pinball on location story from years ago. The game he references in the beginning of the recording is a mechanical horse race game - as near as I can tell a trade stimulator. These games with mechanical animation are both interesting and valuable. T-Shirts! These will be available to pre-order only until 1/18/16. Beach Time expands on the concepts used in Sun Valley and Cypress Gardens! Every number on the bingo card can be moved to another postion, the ballyhole awards you all the moving numbers features on the next game, and the game has stop and shop before 3rd, 4th or 5th ball! Extra balls, extended time tree for moving numbers, corners scoring and a beautiful art package really make this quite a winner in my mind. Backglass: Cabinet: Playfield: T-shirts! Carnival Queen ushers in the era of the Magic Screen! Magic Screen games are the most popular among many bingo players. Instead of a flat bingo card, there is instead a movable grid that makes up each column of the bingo card. As you move the screen, each column will shift and reveal colored sections. If you land three in the section (not necessarily adjacent!) you will win the indicated replays on the backglass. This game was also the first to feature the 'R' button to register your replays. Prior games would automatically find winners and count them up. Now, it is totally under the player's control. Backglass: Cabinet (this shows the screen revealed): Playfield: T-shirts! These will be available to pre-order only until 1/18/16. Sea Island was Bally's second Magic Screen game - they added another section of the screen, and according to Phil's site, bingo.cdyn.com, they made it easier to achieve the feature. A full extended time tree (after 5th) gives the player the ability to score in each color. The extra section completely changes the gameplay with the small, difficult blue section. Fun Way is the first of a few games that Jeffrey Lawton calls the "Ohio Dime Games". Please see the book Bally Bingo Pinball Machines for more information. Fun Way is a six card bingo - instead of earning replays, you earn a 'score' - the score can, in fact, be used exactly like a replay. Wonder if you could gamble with that? ;) Backglass: Cabinet: http://bingo.cdyn.com/machines/bally/fun_way/resources/cab-fun_way-2.jpg Playfield: http://bingo.cdyn.com/machines/bally/fun_way/resources/pf-fun_way-1.jpg These will be available to pre-order only until 1/18/16. Touchdown is the first Magic Numbers bingo that Bally produced. Instead of a 2x2 square of numbers that rotates, you have a 3x2 rectangle that rotates! Pic-a-play returns with triple-deck scoring, an extended time tree, a center spotted number, and the ability to earn a 5-in-a-line by sinking balls in each of the numbers in the bottom-right quadrant (the star numbers). Can Can is a beautiful magic screen bingo with a great feature set. This game has extended time, rollovers, extra balls, a blue section that scores 300 or 600, an orange section that scores as green or gives the OK game. On top of all that, you can also light both super sections (which allow you to score 2 as 3, 3 as 4, and 4 as 5) via the white button on the front of the cab. Barrel-O-Fun '61 and '62 and Fun Spot '61 and '62 are "Ohio Dime Games" as Jeffrey Lawton calls them in his book "Bally Bingo Pinball Machines". I've wrapped four games into one episode since Barrel-O-Fun '61 and '62 are the same game (run in different years), and Fun Spot '61 and '62 are the same game as Barrel-O-Fun without the replay button on the front of the game. These games are six card bingos that do not earn replays. Instead, they earn 'score' which can be used to play new games... but are not at all replays. Lido is one of the two Futurity games (Bikini is the other). Often praised for their use as home games, these games will allow you to save up your OK game and play it at a later time. In this way, rather than relying on the green odds to advance to a particular point before really playing to light the OK feature, you can earn advances on the Futurity for even low green odds. Lido has a fantastic art package. For those who have not seen Phil Bogema's restored Lido, I have before and after photos on my Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages. Check those out - incredibly impressive! I cannot link those here, but these are great photos of the artwork. Shoot-A-Line is a one-off Bally bingo that has a unique playfield layout: 28 holes! Each row contains 7 holes, which would make this very challenging. Especially because each bingo card only contains 25 numbers! The backglass and cabinet artwork are not very inspired, and I am curious as to why Bally experimented with the playfield layout and iconic image, but the playfield artwork is pretty great! Fun Spot '63 is the last of the "Ohio Dime Games" that Jeffrey Lawton has written about in "Bally Bingo Pinball Machines". These games award score rather than replays, and will retain your score from game to game, though it will reduce by 500 with each new game. As Jeffrey mentions in tonight's correction, the games always required a single coin drop. At that point, it will tick down your score until it either runs out or lights all six cards. Fun Spot '63 is pretty much exactly the same game as '62's model, but with a different cabinet. @, As of my knowledge cutoff in 2023, the 1933 version of the film "Contact" does not exist. It seems there might be a confusion with the title or the year. The well-known film "Contact" is a science fiction drama released in 1997, directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Jodie Foster and Matthew McConaughey. It is based on the 1985 novel of the same name by Carl Sagan.

If you are looking for a different film from 1933 or a film with a similar title, please provide more details so I can assist you better. If you are indeed referring to the 1997 film "Contact," it is widely available on various streaming platforms, DVD, and Blu-ray.
