Williams Solved Funhouse (Williams, 1990) Problem

Hi,
I recently purchased a funhouse from ebay and it has a few problems. The skillshot, Rudy's Hideout, is not registering, and when I go to activate midnight multiball, it doesn't register when the ball goes into rudys mouth. Both times the ball just sits there and waits till the machine goes into ball search, then it kicks the ball out. This is my first pinball machine, and it is in good condition other than these two problems. I haven't leveled it yet, where do you put the level? Sorry, but I am a total noob with this stuff, any help would be appreciated.

Luke I used to repair games as a kid for my dad's buisness. What I would do is check the switches on the playfield, you should hear a click when the switch is tripped by the ball rolling over it.(with the game off it's a soft click). This doesn't always mean the switch is good/bad but you can tell if it's being tripped. If the switches are good I would TURN OFF/UNPLUG THE GAME, and one at a time take the connectors to the circuit boards off and put them back on one at a time. Slide each connector on and off once or twice. As long as you put them back on correctly before you power up the game you can't hurt anything. It may be a bad connection.

I forgot to tell you also with the game off push in the chips on the circuit boards with your finger or thumb. You should hear a crackling noise when it's pushed in because the prongs on the chip are being pushed into the socket. Over time they can come loose or corrode slightly. Don't push in real hard but sometimes it takes a little bit 2-3 lbs max.
