i think the flip-flops are my favorite part of the ensemble!


but it had to be flip-flops. i wear teva's year-round, even in the snow. the coolness reduces the inflammation in my feet and the airiness reduces the sweat content. although i do often break down and wear black tennis socks. in that case, even from the near distance, it looks like i'm just wearing black sneakers or such.


but this could all be just a ploy to reduce your spidey-sense. you never know. :)

Though I also concur with flip flops being the footwear of choice and I wear mine almost exclusively also, apart from at work and playing golf. They also seem to be more durable and much better value then any other footwear. Mind you we usally refer to them as thongs here, not to be confused with the singular thong which we 'ere usually call budgie smugglers.

tevas are sandals, tho. they won't fly off your feet when playing tennis and stuff. like flip-flops would. ppl look at me like i'm crazy, but the bottoms of the things are basically like sneakers. they just get fooled by the tops. silly ppl!

seriously, can't believe i didn't get my feet stepped on, broken, when i used to play basketball in the things.

exactly. goliath's thong was so tight he could hardly breathe, therefore david walked right up to him and touched his thumb to the giant's eye. the resulting bacterial infection spread like wildfire and israel was the historic victor yet again.
