Gottlieb Slick Chick- looking for lock down bar?

This seems to be as elusive as Big Foot. The pinball resource guru has been out of stock for some time, and i've been trolling ebay for about a year now.

Would any other Gottlieb bar work? A local guy told me to look for the serial number to make sure it wasn't a pre-production issue, but there is no serial number in sight of this machine. I have climbed under and over this sucker and cannot find anything that appears to be a number.
