Year 2009 should have ended better here,than today.....
Somebody armed idiot killed today five people+himself...
First he had killed his ex-fiancee and then he went to
shopping center Cello at Leppavaara (nearby Espoo) and killed
four people at ex-fiancee's working place.Police found the killer
later.He had committed a suicide.

I'm very happy this decade is going to be over, Time Magazine called the 2000's the Decade From Hell and possibly the worst decade ever and I tend to agree with them.

For cultures away from the equator there's a physiological need for the winter celebrations. Ancient people recognized what we now call seasonal affective disorder, and created these winter celebrations to combat it.
