Gottlieb Haunted House (Gottlieb, 1982) sw 45 upkicker

Hey! I have no power coming to this coil when I hit the switch that is supposed to energize it and pop the ball up into the upper playfield. apparently switch 45

I also have had an intermittent problem with one of the upper playfield flippers being stuck energized.

Does anyone have a switch matrix for Haunted House? or know what IC is doing this? I've gone through every diode and transistor with my meter and they look fine.

Gottlieb is anally retentive these days. IPDB can't include Gottlieb schematics. http://www.ipdb.org/faq.html#faq17
So, no switch matrix. There are many failure points for that VUK problem. Bad driver transistor? The switch? broken connections/wires? Is there a diagnostic sequence for firing the coil and does that energize the coil?
About the stuck on flipper...What do you do to un-stick it?

Hey buddy!, I checked all the driver transistors on the board they checked out, wiring is nice looking.


To get the thing back to normal, I had the driver board out for a couple weeks out of the game, I checked the board one day at home, then brought it back and the upper playfield flipper de energized and worked like normal in game. can ICs be intermittent in this way?

Some times re-seating IC's IS a quick fix...Ribbon cables too
