Heaven and Hell

Really stoked, new album out this week, so can't wait. For those of you who are uninitiated, they use to be called Black Sabbath, with Dio returning as the singer.

Clean start, and they wanted a clean break with Ozzy I guess. First single is Bible Black, pretty awesome really. Typical Sabbath stuff, lots of doom and gloom metal. Love it, great stuff to listen too when designing the appropriate table, really gets you in the proper mood.

Huge fan, so looking forward to hearing the album, and, will go to the concert when they get here. Promised to take the kid as well, his first concert.

Quick test for the true fan, and don't look it up, what is Geezer Butlers real first name?

didn't even know they were releasing another album.

just listened to the whole thing, it is heavy but much slower like the heaven and hell album, not like mob rules.

unfortunately, it sounds like they always sounded they didn't really expand much on it ... mob rules was a really cool follow-up to heaven & hell,
but as i said this one is like heaven & hell II

The new album's coming out next week?... How time flies! It didn't seem that long ago I saw them open for Judas Priest with Motörhead and Testament last July at Glen Helen.

Just listened to the full album. Very doom and gloom, pure Sabbath. Like Dehumanizer more than any album, take a few listens to get use to it, a couple really jumped out, Bible Black is awesome.

The album is great to be designing games to, especially with it's creepy theme. Should be touring here the fall, after the European festive tour.

Even better, Iron Maiden just said they will be going to the studio in a few months to start a new album, and shortly, Flight 666 will be out on DVD. Damn, I'm still getting over the concert I saw last year. Guess age has a way of catching you up.

Thanks for the Youtube clip Hanson!!, I have to say that Dio struggled a bit live!!!, looked out of breath, and struggled some to carry the extended notes.

I am looking forward to Megadeth's new follow up to United Abominations called Endgame. Dave Mustaine and Co. are also touring with Slayer. Undoubtably the best thrash bands ever. Brutal and Fast. Headbangers Delight!!!

Slayer in concert is incredible. Clean and crisp production, near flawless, no distortion.

Awaiting Porcupine Tree's newest release this month called Incident. Frontman Steven Wilson's restrospective thoughts on a horific car crash he drove past that the police referred to as an Incident. Double album/cd with the title track and the first cd running 55 minutes long.
He is a studio wizard.

Yeah you are right, Slayer and Megadeth are great, I saw Slayer on a concert long time ago, 1993 or so, the old stuff of them I'd liked very much! Dave Lombardo best drummer ever :mosh:!
