It reminds me of the failed Virtual Reality helmets at the arcades in the 90's, due to the problems with pink eye.

Maybe with Disposable Helmets?

how about a disposable liner around the eye area, plus a sensor and some simple AI to force every new patron to affix a fresh liner, else the game refuses to start.


EDIT: wow, i just read that pink eye can also be caused by mites, including dust mites. meaning the previous patron might leave behind some little pets on the helmet who'd like to make your eyeball their new home. you merely need play long enough so they have time to wander over. :)

dropping my annoyingness for a brief moment-- it is just stupid depressing to me how we have so many talented ppl in this scene, like shiva, that british dude (al?), shockman, and many others... yet it's sort of a miracle when they occasionally get recompensed for their efforts.

As a newfound male housekeeper, on behalf of Apartment Management, I'm too tired for that.

But on the bright side, the maintenance man came in today and said my apartment "looks nice".... :)

Looks like they need a computer cam for that shot. One that tracks by the speed of the ball.
But the camera operator didn't do such a bad job. I'm reminded of televised games though where they did.

Yes, no, perhaps, maybe and most likely not..

In the game of modern day cricket there are indeed many computer operated cameras focusing on the game, they are the third umpire, when in any doubt they are called upon. In fact each team get's 3 calls in an innings to call upon the third umpire in an unfavourable call.

Though I'm sure shiva don't play cricket..
