Hey! This is How I Ended Up With Six Cats

The first one was a male stray cat, and a sprayer.
So I had to keep him outside, for abusing my winter coats.

When I caught up with him one day, he had found a stray mate.
It was cold. 38 degrees in Southern California that year.
It was raining. She and he were starved, shacking up in a 1 foot crawlspace under a neighbor's warm and leaky bathtub.
And she was Very Pregnant.
So I took her in.

And fed him at the door.

cute little thing.

i should think about getting a cat again... the only animal allowed here. maybe a neutered male. maybe even a maine coon. not sure. some kind of cat that's affectionate but self-entertaining to some extent.

definitely need one of those self-cleaning litterboxes, though, since i've never enjoyed that task.

And the only thing that we need to worry about are the claws.
Fortunately for me, the cats that I live with are smart enough to retract them, unless of course they are excited about something...

Mine is smart. He won't "dig in" when he's on me.
