Stikes 'n spares
Been a pinball fan but because of life and work commitments had to put my life to one side. Now I am retired I decided to re-connect to my passion.
My wife died and being a single father takes time to adjust. Now my daughter has grown my attention is not needed anymore.
I have always been a bit bias towards Future Pinball because it looked so much better than vp8 or vp9, although game play could have been improved on both.
What happened to Future pinball, 100+creators just gone and now we have none left.
Seems it is only 4 or 5 people trying to save a sinking ship with regurgitating tables they did not create with flair and visuals.
I do appreciate the progress of bam, it has made limitless improvements and should be commended.
Sure fizx has better flipper angles than before but it is still random with worse game play overall, I guess that is why Slamt1lt dose not use it.
Not trying to be critical or derogatory, but the future of virtual pinball does not seem to be Future pinball.
I hope these 4 or 5 guys I have mentioned, as talented as they are finally realizing they are wasting time on a lemon.
Seacrest out....

To create an Fp table, I can say it's a lot of work. A waste of time and well no... a hobby? Yes of course. It makes me practice software code, 3d, texture, music... I can create for free without being too afraid of lawsuits. Fp and old software nothing more. Nothing can replace real pinball and real physics. The problem is that no one treats virtual pinball machines like a digital pinball machine. I always adjust my tables to the proposed physics and not the other way around.

@Zobou I am not familiar with your work.
Although I did just now see what you have done. It looks very impressive.
I am not talking about that, and no offense but you could not hold a candle to those before you.
Also please do not be confused, I am not a fan boy....
There is a good chance I have spent much more time coding Future Pinball tables than you.
So I fully understand the trials and tribulations of what is required.
What I am saying is a platform that teaches coding, 3d modeling, graphic artistry and musicality
Is not limited by imagination or creativity. It is and has always been limited by it's physics.
Nothing more nothing less. I hope I did not offend your talent.

You ask this...
"What happened to Future pinball, 100+creators just gone and now we have none left."

And then say this right afterwards...
"Not trying to be critical or derogatory, but the future of virtual pinball does not seem to be Future pinball.
I hope these 4 or 5 guys I have mentioned, as talented as they are finally realizing they are wasting time on a lemon."

Great motivational speech. I am sure this will motivate others to make Future Pinball tables.

Then you "hope you didn't offend" with comment to one of the FP table Authors that actually answered your post, saying you have probably coded FP longer, and telling him "you could not hold a candle to those before you"?

Are you trying to make friends? Or maybe offend someone?
What was the purpose of your post?
To tell all of the Future Pinball table authors they are wasting their time, and they can't hold a candle to you?
I think they deserve a little more respect than that.

Stating your opinions in the forums is fine, but please refrain from trying to offend our fellow Future Pinball table makers.
If you have to ask, "Hope I didn't offend", then you probably shouldn't post it.
We actually appreciate all of the work being done with Future Pinball and Bam.

Welcome to the site!
Hope you enjoy your stay!
Carry on.
