Stern Solved High Roller Casino (Stern, 2001) menu settings

I recently was in the service menus and change the settings to easy and also to ad a custom message. The game started to act funny and not boot up, just kept resetting. I works now but it will not let me change any of the settings in the menu i.e. easy to hard or to do a factory reset. It is like some sort of lock out has occurred. Can I manually reset the game?

I figured it out, the coin box safety switches have to be in the neutral position and not pulled out. My coin box door does not have a depress plate for those switches so I have to leave them in the pulled out position.
